Data Encryption: Locally & On Portable Drives.

We can set up encrypted container files on Local Hard Disks, Network Storage, or on USB Drives. These encrypted containers can store anything inside them and are mounted like a virtual hard drive.
You can have it so they are accessed using a Password, or using a passkey, which is a USB Drive formatted to act as a key so that the container file cannot be opened unless that USB stick is present.

Secure Data Deletion.

Unfortunately deleting a file on Windows is the equivalent of chucking something in the bin. Which means most people can take it out of the bin!
Emptying the recycle bin is also the equivalent of putting the bin bag outside the house. People can still take things out of the bin bag.
When disposing of confidential materials many people either shred them or burn them, some do both.
FM Tech can set you up with a "File Shredder" which permanently deletes files. The only downside is if you accidentally delete these files, they can never be retrieved.

Secure Hard Drive/Data Disposal

We can destroy the data on a HDD by running military grade disk wiping software over the disk to delete and overwrite data multiple times. You'll then get a certificate confirming the data has been destroyed.
We can do this and return the disk to you for a fee. Alternatively if you allow us to keep the disk and recycle it we will do this free of charge.
We can also physically destroy the disk, this involves deleted the data as above, and then dismantling the disk piece by piece and scratching, bending, and snapping the actual disk.
